District to start using new booking software

staff report
October 4, 2021 12:06pm

District of Squamish will start using a new recreational booking software this fall.

In 2020, Council authorized staff to upgrade to a new recreation software system called ‘Perfect Mind’ to replace the district’s end-of-life recreation registration system.

According to a staff report, Perfect Mind will offer customers a more efficient and positive experience when registering for programs, dropping in, and booking facilities.

The Perfect Mind software is used by sports centers, universities and other recreation organisations to manage bookings, activity and staff schedules.

The new software is designed to improve functionality over the current system and streamline operations.

However, no fee increases are proposed as part of this revamp.
