“Refresh is unique in that it offers the opportunity to meet and purchase goods from some of B.C.’s best and newest local artists, makers and shops under one roof,” says Refresh Market Co-Founder Shannon Lorenz.
“We continue to be inspired by the vast amount of talent in one space and we are truly grateful to be able to create this experience to share with our community. This has inspired us to innovate and continue to grow and evolve Refresh into the experience it is today.”
The market’s vendor lineup features a diverse range of handmade, vintage and sustainable clothing, jewelry, ceramics, art, artisan food, housewares and more from local artists, makers and small shops.
Visitors can also have their auras photographed by Vancouver photographer Hello Aura.
“We have had many months to reflect on the essence of Refresh and what it is that makes this experience so special, and it’s the energy of our vendors and the community who show up to support them,” says Refresh Market Co-Founder Rachel Boguski. “It’s incredibly humbling to look back to 10 years ago and see how far we have evolved, and to celebrate the successes of our artists and makers who have been able to materialize their creative pursuits.”
Founded in 2011 by Shannon Lorenz and Rachel Boguski, Refresh Market has remained one of the most anticipated “shop small” events for conscious consumers and has remained a pioneering force on the craft market scene. Known as one of BC’s leading showcases of independent art and design, and the largest market in the Sea to Sky corridor, Refresh draws guests in the thousands to each biannual event.
Friday night guests will receive gift bags while quantities last.
COVID-19 protocols will be in place, including mandatory masks and B.C. vaccine card entry requirements.
