Lost Lake cross country ski and snowshoe trails open in Whistler

Twelve kilometres of cross country skiing and six kilometres of snowshoeing trails are open at Lost Lake Nordic Trails in Whistler.

 

Regular hours of operation are 8 am to 8 pm daily, weather dependent. Night skiing is from 3 pm onwards where Lost Lake Loop will be lit.

Modified hours will be in effect over the holidays:

Friday, December 24: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Saturday, December 25: 12 to 5 p.m.

Friday, December 31: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Saturday, January 1: 10 to 8 p.m.

Pass holders are reminded to pick up their ski or snowshoe seasons passes from Meadow Park Sports Centre or municipal hall. Anyone over 13 must be present to sign a waiver and have their photo taken.

Both the main entrance at Lost Lake PassivHaus and at Nicklaus North will be accessible. For day tickets, rentals and café service please visit the PassivHaus daylodge. The warming hut will open Saturday, December 18, and masks are required in all indoor spaces.

To maintain the condition of the trails, walking, hiking, running, dogs, ice skating and bikes will no longer be permitted in Lost Lake Park for the winter season.

A valid pass or day ticket is required to utilize the trails.
