Police search for truck stolen from Government Road

Staff report
December 23, 2021 3:49pm

Squamish RCMP are investigating the theft of a truck from a Government Road laneway.

Sometime during December 18 and 19, between 7 pm and 7:50 am, thieves stole a white Ford F350 truck from the 40100 block of Government Road laneway. Thieves also went into a second car, stole a wallet with bank cards, and used them for fraudulent transactions around town before the cards were cancelled.

This file remains under investigation.

Over the past week, Squamish RCMP has received numerous calls from different landlords and tenants having various types of disputes.

Police are reminding people that these types of disputes fall within the Residential Tenancy Act and are not matters that involve the police.
