One person in hospital after collision on Duffey Lake Road

Staff report
April 15, 2022 6:39am

One person is in hospital after a collision that took place on the Duffy Lake Road.  On April 9 at 2:30 pm, Lillooet RCMP were notified of a two-vehicle collision on Highway 99, close to Duffey Lake.

The collision happened when a Honda Odyssey crossed a double solid line and entered the path of a grey Subaru. Even as the Subaru swerved to avoid the collision, the Honda fishtailed into the Subaru.

The collision caused the Honda to roll onto the passenger side.

The one occupant in the Subaru was taken to a local hospital. The driver of the Honda was uninjured and he was given a violation ticket for crossing a double solid line.
