Special weather statement for Coquihalla Highway

May 9, 2022 11:25am

A special weather statement is in effect for Coquihalla Highway, from Hope to Merritt. There is a potential for flurries over the high elevation mountain pass.

Snow levels will continue to hover near the Coquihalla Summit today. Generally light flurries are expected along the high elevation sections of the route. Bouts of heavier flurries are possible but will be brief and localized.

Please be prepared for changing travel conditions if snow accumulates quickly on road as weather in the mountains can change suddenly resulting in hazardous driving conditions.

Road conditions are available at www.drivebc.ca.
