Two injured in shooting at Williams Lake Stampede

Police have arrested one suspect after a public shooting at a stampede in Williams Lake on Sunday afternoon.

On July 3 at 3:37 pm, Williams Lake RCMP responded to shooting on the stampede grounds located on the 800 block of Mackenzie Avenue South.

Two people were taken to the hospital and one suspect is in custody. Preliminary information suggests that this incident was targeted and there is no risk to the public.
