Squamish RCMP seek info about three suspicious men in Downtown Squamish

Staff report
October 13, 2022 11:41am

Squamish RCMP is seeking more information about three suspicious men in Downtown Squamish.

On October 10, police received third hand information about a red Dodge pickup truck driving aggressively in the downtown area. Later, three men from the truck went to a car dealership in the 1100 block of Hunter Place.

One of the men had a tool in hand and went underneath a white truck parked in the dealership’s parking lot. When someone asked what the men what they were doing, they said they were just looking at the truck. They left the area after that. One of the men is Caucasian, young, about 20 years old, slim build, tall, and wore a black hoodie with white writing and a black hat.  Given recent catalytic converter thefts, police believe the men may have been planning to steal the converter from the truck.

Call Squamish RCMP at 604-892-6100 if you have any information about these suspicious individuals.
