Squamish Chamber of Commerce announces finalists for business excellence awards

The Squamish Chamber of Commerce has announced the shortlist of finalists for the 2022 awards. Over one hundred nominations, reflecting the strength and prosperity of a business community full of talent, creativity and innovation were received over the 4-week nomination period.

Winners will be announced at the Awards Gala on December 1 at Quest University. Here are the finalists:

Large Business of the Year presented by Nesters Market: Climb On Equipment, The Squamish Connector, A-Frame Brewing.

Workplace of the Year presented by Mountain FM:  Stark Architecture, Atwell Dental,  Sky High Cannabis.

Small Business of the Year presented by BlueShore Financial: Euphoria Natural Health, Soave Distributing, Van Urban Timber

Community Builder of the Year presented by RE/MAX Sea to Sky Real Estate: Howe Sound Women’s Centre, Pride Squamish, Squamish Helping Hands.

New Business of the Year presented by Community Futures: The Little Book Shop, Grateful Gift Shop, Garibaldi Eye Care

Business Person of the Year presented by the Squamish Chief: David Arnot, Stark Architecture + TAG Panels + ALBA Distribution, Kirby Brown, General Manager, Sea to Sky Gondola, Roxana Dees, Owner, Euphoria Natural Health.

Green Business of the Year presented by GFL Environmental: Nexii Building Solutions, GotCans Recycling, Eco Living Club.

Bill Manson Citizen of the Year presented by Sea to Sky Gondola: Carl Halvorson, Sativa the Diva – Chris Cook, Karen Vanzella

Business Innovation presented by Race and Company LLP: Penny AI, 7mesh Industries, Sea to Sky Veterinary Clinic

Young Entrepreneur of the Year presented by Futurpreneur: Sarah Goodman, Chiwis Chips, Theodora Jean, Coldwater Communications, Nadine Manson, Bewildher

On December 1, the Squamish Chamber of Commerce will host as estimated 150 attendees at Quest University for the annual Business Excellence Awards.
