Police incident in Downtown Squamish; stay away from area

Authorities ate asking people to stay away from Downtown Squamish as a police incident unfolds at Under One Roof at Third and Main Street.

There is a large police presence along with tactical unit, as well a police negotiator, though Squamish RCMP has yet to release any details about the incident.

A police incident is underway at 3rd and Main Streets in #Squamish. Police are dealing with a person. They have cordoned off the area and are asking people to stay away while they do their work. More updates to come.

In a social media tweet, District has advised residents to stay away from the area.

    There were two separate incident at Castle Rock were cougar was behind residents very scary some people feel like prisoners in their own home
