Emergency personnel are currently on scene in the area of No Name Road in response to a gas leak resulting from excavation work.

In a social media post, District of Squamish said personnel have been knocking on doors instructing residents to close windows, as well as switch off all gas appliances. A shelter-in-place is being advised for residents in the broader area and a road closure is currently in place.

An evacuation order has not been issued at this time. FortisBC will be attending the scene and more updates are coming.
