The Sea to Sky RCMP are inviting people to attend a community town hall meeting. The meeting takes place tonight, from 5 pm to 7 pm at Brennan Park.
Inspector Robert Dykstra will provide a short overview of current policing operations and strategic priorities. The main purpose of the meeting however, is to hear from community about identifying, determining, aligning, and collaborating to develop and action shared goals.
Here are some things Sea to Sky RCMP wants to hear from the community: What does policing mean to you? What expectations do you have of police officers and policing in your community? How does your community want to be policed? What are the greatest challenges facing our community and what role should the police have in addressing them?
