Waypoint Insurance is officially opening its doors to Squamish on Friday, March 31. The official event will start at 10 am at 1-1900 Garibaldi Way.
The grand opening will include a land acknowledgment and blessing from Ḵálḵalilh Deanna Lewis from the Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Nation and a welcome and ribbon cutting from Waypoint Insurance CEO, Tony Hayes.
Throughout the day there will be local prizes and free coffee from Wild Wolf Espresso, from 10 am to 12 pm. In a press release, the company said Waypoint Insurance was founded over 150 years ago on Vancouver Island by entrepreneurial insurance brokers dedicated to crafting top-tier insurance products unique to life in Western Canada.

Waypoint Insurance has 20 locations across Vancouver Island and the Lower Mainland.
