An accident involving a motorcycle and a car has shut down the Sea to Sky Highway, south of Squamish near Britannia Beach. The driver of the motorycle has been airlifted to hospital with serious injuries in the serious accident that happened at 9:30 am today.

According to DriveBC, the incident has closed the road in both directions. Crews are on scene, an assessment is in progress, and no detour are available. Police has yet to release more details about the incident.
