A North Vancouver man has received a jail sentence following successful investigation by North Vancouver RCMP.
On February 16th, 2023, a man reported being involved in a hit-and-run involving a Chrysler Pacifica. It was alleged the Chrysler rear ended the man’s vehicle and then sped away at a high rate of speed driving eastbound on West 3rd Street in North Vancouver.
Officers immediately flooded the area and quickly located the Chrysler near 3rd Street and Lonsdale Avenue. But then they tried to pull the vehicle over by conducting a traffic stop, the vehicle again fled at a high rate of speed, weaving dangerously in and out of traffic.
