The Howe Sound Performing Arts Association is set to present Classical Collaborations, an evening of beautiful harmony featuring local classical musicians and silk aerialists. The event will take place on Saturday, April 20th, with doors opening at 7:30 PM and the show starting at 8:00 PM at St. John the Divine Anglican Church in Squamish.

The concert promises to be a treat for music lovers as local classical musicians come together to create engaging ensembles and composers spanning multiple eras. To add to the visual appeal of the performance, aerial silk artists will create stunning choreography for some of the pieces.

The performers include Andrea Cotter on piano, Barb Cooke on violin, Emma Bishop and Louise Robinson as aerial silk artists, Erik Musseau, Julie Murakami, and Saša Malek on piano, Katie Coombs on clarinet, Kayla Mak and Veronica McPhee as sopranos, and Sandra Ashmore on oboe. The Sea to Sky Strings Youth Orchestra, led by Yuko Iwanaga, will also perform.

Tickets for the event are available for $25 and can be purchased from the Howe Sound Performing Arts Association website at https://howesoundarts.tickit.ca/events/23725-classical-collaborations. For more information and updates, follow the Association on Instagram and Facebook or visit their website at howesoundarts.ca. Classical Collaborations promises to be an unforgettable evening of music and artistry, and is not to be missed by anyone who appreciates the beauty of classical music.
