Squamish Arts has unveiled a brand-new website that offers a comprehensive database of existing public artworks in Sḵwx̱wú7mesh and a resource for public art-related initiatives. The website Squamish Public Art will provide visitors with a Virtual Map to explore public artworks by local and international artists.
The website allows visitors to filter artworks by artist, type, location, and year and offers curated tours of local art or the ability to create your own. Additionally, the website features self-guided tours curated to showcase the public art Squamish offers, such as the Squamish Highlight Tour, Downtown walking tour, Adventure Tour, and a cycling tour.
Visitors can also read more about the artists whose artwork is featured in the community. Artists can also provide their information to be contacted about future public art opportunities in Squamish, which will be listed on the website as they arise.
