Neighbourhood Craft will return to Downtown Squamish for its first market of the year with 30+ artists, designers and creative people from Squamish and beyond. The single-day outdoor market will be held on Saturday, May 11, at 38174 Cleveland Avenue from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

“Neighbourhood Craft is a way to access free arts and culture in the heart of Downtown Squamish,” says Founding Director Rachel Boguski who hosts the event alongside partner Laura DiCecco. “People come to hang out, listen to music, see the range of vendor goods, have a meal – it’s a feel-good place to be. We look forward to welcoming back local artists and introducing new artists to the community.”

Visitors to Neighbourhood Craft will find art, ceramics, textiles, jewelry, vintage, apparel, home goods and more from over 30 vendors, including BIPOC, and emerging artists. A list of vendors is available at neighbourhood craft.ca. Hosted by the Squamish non-profit Neighbourhood Society, Neighbourhood Craft transforms public spaces through inclusive events that support local artists. May 11 marks the fifth Neighbourhood Craft since the Society was established in 2022.

Neighbourhood Craft will take place on May 11 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is free. For full event details visit neighbourhoodcraft.ca and follow the event on Instagram at @neighbourhoodcraft.
