Environment Canada reports that a ridge of high pressure over southern British Columbia is creating ideal conditions for dense fog, which is forecasted to lift by late morning tomorrow.

The advisory warns that visibility may be suddenly and significantly reduced, posing a hazard for travelers. Drivers are advised to use headlights and maintain a safe following distance when visibility is low.

Residents are encouraged to monitor weather alerts and forecasts from Environment Canada. Severe weather can be reported by email at BCstorm@ec.gc.ca or via Twitter using the hashtag #BCStorm.
