
Police are revealing a few details about an operation that brought an Emergency Response Team from Surrey to search a home in Garibaldi Estates. The search took place on January 16 at a residence on Diamond Head Road.
Staff Sergeant Lindsey Houghton, a senior media relations officer with the Surrey Police Service, said that no additional information can be provided due to an ongoing investigation.

“Officers from the BC RCMP Surrey Provincial Operations Support Unit were supported by members of the Integrated Emergency Response Team while executing a search warrant connected to an active investigation,” she said. “Unfortunately, as the investigation is ongoing, we are unable to share further details.”
Houghton added that police may issue a press release or provide updates as more information becomes available.
