The Squamish-Lillooet Regional District has issued a notice of motion for an upcoming film shoot at Britannia Beach.
Production company GEP Resident Inc. will return to the area to film scenes for Season 4 of Resident Alien at the Britannia Mine Museum. Filming is scheduled from February 26 to 28, with site preparations beginning on February 24 and 25.
According to the notice, crew members will set up at the Mine Museum property at 7 a.m. on February 24, with work continuing into the following day. Filming will occur from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. on February 26 and 27, with work trucks remaining on-site overnight. On February 28, filming will wrap at the museum by early afternoon before the crew relocates to Minaty Bay for additional scenes.
A small crew will return on March 1 for the final wrap-up. The notice assures residents that there will be no stunts, gunfire, or loud noises during filming, and lighting will be contained within the museum’s property.
