Andrews Development, the proponent of a major mixed-use development near Capilano University, is inviting the public to an information meeting on Wednesday, June 4.

The proposal includes 340 apartment units, 30 ground-level “Adventure Studios,” and 54 detached multiplex homes. In total, 127 of the units would be designated as rental, with 32 of those offered at below-market rates.

Developers are also proposing 3,400 square metres of commercial space that could house a grocery store, daycare, and restaurant. Plans include a public plaza and internal park system. The application also requests a significant reduction in parking, citing site constraints, and outlines a shared-use parking model. To offset the impact, the proposal includes more than twice the required number of residential bike parking spots and two new BC Transit bus shelters.

The developer-hosted public meeting will run from 6 pm to 7:30 p.m. at the Capilano University dining room. Attendees can expect a presentation, followed by a Q&A session and an opportunity to share feedback. No registration is required, and refreshments will be served.
