The aircraft, which was conducting maintenance work, went down for reasons that have not yet been confirmed.

Transportation Safety Board investigators are on scene to determine the cause of the crash. There are no concerns about the integrity of the dam. One individual was injured and was taken to the hospital by first responders, Woodfibre LNG said in a statement.

“In any incident, our first concern is the safety and well-being of anyone working with us. Our thoughts are first and foremost with the injured individual and their loved ones,” said Luke Schauerte, CEO of Woodfibre LNG.
