Vancouver Police have released images and video of a suspect involved in a series of stabbing attacks along the Yaletown seawall that injured multiple people on Friday, according to a news release by Vancouver PD.
The suspect is described as a woman in her 20s or 30s, with long, dark hair worn in a ponytail. In the footage provided by the police, she was wearing an over-sized black leather jacket, black pants, and possibly a leopard-print shirt or scarf.
She was last seen walking east on Marinaside Crescent, between the Cambie Street Bridge and David Lam Park.

Police were initially called to the area near David Lam Park just after 7:30 a.m. on Friday, October 10, following reports of several people stabbed. Three victims were located immediately and taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Since the initial response, four additional victims have come forward. These include another stabbing victim, a person who was physically assaulted, and two others who were not physically injured, bringing the total number of known victims to seven.
“These assaults were violent and unprovoked, and as long as this suspect remains at large we fear the community is at risk,” Sergeant Steve Addison said in a statement released Sunday morning.
The victims include five men and two women, ranging in age from 23 to 59 years old.
Police are continuing to canvas the area for additional video footage and witnesses. Investigators believe there may be additional victims or witnesses who have not yet spoken to authorities.
“There may be additional victims we don’t know about, or witnesses who have important information that could help solve this case,” Sergeant Addison added, urging anyone who recognizes the woman to contact police immediately.
