Squamish Canyon will reopen its Enchanted Forest attraction for the 2025–26 winter season with a series of holiday-themed activities beginning December 13, according to a press release issued by the attraction on Nov. 24. The site will feature a woodland-themed winter display, family programming, and free admission for children 12 and under through January 4.

The release states that visitors can expect new seasonal features across the decorated canyon, including themed photo stops and encounters with “forest friends.” Programming includes the Forest Friends Holiday Hunt, Canyon Host Story Time on Sundays, and Movies on the Boardwalk featuring holiday films.

Families can also take part in gingerbread cookie decorating, photo sessions titled “Selfies with Santa Paws,” and a Noon-Years Eve Party on Dec. 31. According to Squamish Canyon Guest Experience Manager Nicky Walker, the holiday programming is designed to offer families opportunities for connection and exploration. Walker said the Enchanted Forest “gives families a chance to slow down, explore together, and enjoy a bit of magic.”

Squamish Canyon will operate daily from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., with last entry at 3 p.m. The attraction will also host a Doggy Happy Hour on the boardwalk at 2 p.m. each afternoon for a limited time.
