Sea to Sky Highway closed after bus and vehicle collision

Highway 99 is closed in both directions following a collision involving a bus and a passenger vehicle north of Squamish.

Sea to Sky Squamish RCMP said officers responded to the crash at approximately 3:30 p.m. on Jan. 7 on Highway 99 between Alice Lake Road and Daisy Lake Road.

Police have not yet confirmed whether anyone was injured. Due to the circumstances of the crash, the RCMP has requested the attendance of the Integrated Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Service to assist with the investigation. The highway is expected to remain closed for several hours while investigators work at the scene.
