Woodfibre LNG has launched the 2026 intake of its Community Partnership Program, with online applications now open to eligible non-profits across the Squamish and Sea to Sky region.

The program funds local organizations working in sports and recreation, health and wellness, arts and culture, marine safety, and search and rescue. Charities and non-profits in the District of Squamish or the Squamish-Lillooet Regional District may apply for grants of up to $5,000.

The 2026 intake follows a milestone year. According to the press release, the program surpassed $1 million in total funding in 2025, supporting more than 200 organizations since its 2021 launch. Its most recent intake reached 62 groups across the region.

“What matters most is the impact behind those numbers — the people, programs, and volunteers who help make Squamish and the Sea to Sky region such a strong and connected community,” said CEO Luke Schauerte.

The company also announced that the program will move to a single annual intake to simplify applications and better align with year-round investment priorities. Recipients will be announced later this summer.
