Squamish Medium, a new 10-episode docuseries following Squamish-based psychic medium Danielle Searancke, will premiere in English on APTN on September 14.

According to the news release by APTN, the series will air Mondays at 7:30 p.m. ET / 4:30 p.m. PT, with new episodes also airing in Cree on APTN Languages beginning September 2 at 9:30 p.m. ET on Wednesdays.

The series follows Searancke, a clairsentient who connects with the spirit world through feeling and delivers messages from people who have died. According to the news release, the series explores her work helping people navigate grief while also documenting her own journey of personal growth, self-discovery, and reconnection.

The series takes its name from Squamish, B.C., where Searancke lives and is connected to the community she supports.

Each episode follows Searancke through her work as a medium, including group readings, one-on-one sessions, retreats and conferences. She is also the founder of Spirit School, described in the news release as North America’s first Spirit School, an online learning and community platform offering courses, mentorship, live gatherings and resources focused on mediumship and intuition.

According to the news release, Searancke is also on a journey to reconnect with her Indigenous identity. She has Swampy Cree ancestry from York Factory, Manitoba, and grew up disconnected from her roots.

Both the English and Cree versions of Squamish Medium will be available for same-day streaming on APTN+. Wapanatahk Media, a Vancouver-based Indigenous female-led production company, produced the series.
