Crews will begin installing a section of pipeline beside Powerhouse Springs Road in Squamish as early as July 6, according to the update. The work is tied to an existing pipeline in Squamish that serves Vancouver Island and the Sunshine Coast.
According to the update, the work is expected to take approximately two weeks. Crews will be on site Monday to Friday from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., and on weekends from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Intermittent lane closures and detours will be in place during construction, with traffic control personnel on hand to direct road users, according to the update.
