This year the Squamish Rotary Club is supporting the Hike for Hospice on Sunday, May 4th, from 1 - 3 pm starting at Brennan Park Leisure Centre.

I would like to express my dismay at the direction the community branding initiative has taken. Apparently we are now ‘The Adventure Capital of Canada’ with the corresponding tag line “the world’s most epic adventures can be found right here.” From a marketing perspective I find the use of the word ‘adventure’ generic and vague.
