Squamish RCMP, BC Ambulance Service, and Squamish Search and Rescue attended to The Grand Wall area of The Stawamus Chief and located a male who had fallen approximately 30 metres whilst rock climbing.

Further updates will be provided with any change in information.

Full and partial closures of the facility is scheduled for June 24 through 27. The District is working on a Brennan Park Master Plan for the surrounding fields and lands, which will be developed and shaped with input from the community.

Squamish RCMP is requesting the public’s assistance in locating a 14 year old missing Squamish resident.

The District of Squamish is currently in day two of a High Fire Danger rating. The high rating is expected to continue throughout the rest of this week.

He was reported missing by his family on May 27th, 2019.
