Squamish Valley residents should prepare to be evacuated: RCMP

April 15, 2020 6:23pm

The Squamish Valley Fire has started moving up the Squamish Valley and RCMP are putting Cheekeye Reserve community members on Evacuation Notice.

“If you are in the Squamish Valley area prepare yourself to be evacuated or be put on notice,” police says

Squamish RCMP are also asking Levette Lake and Evans Lake are to evacuate as the fire in moving in that direction over the mountain.

RCMP members are working quickly to get to these areas but please notify people who may be in the area.
