Re: Provincial Funding One may find it odd that a snowmobile club received more than double the funding that The Climate Action Network did. Minister Osborne then informs us that the money is awarded to “… preserve our ecosystems for generations to come.” Two stroke snowmobiles tearing through the woods is not my idea of being ecologically sensitive. Surely a few more bucks could have been directed towards CAN, an organization dedicated to reducing Climate Change, not compounding it!

IT IS APPARENT THAT THESE NON-PROFITS PROVIDE A VALUABLE SERVICE TO THE COMMUNITY … BUT WIITH RESPECT TO THE SITUATION AS OF YESTERDAY WITH TWO MORE SELF EGO MANIACS GOING INTO AVALANCHE COUNTRY AFTER MANY WARNINGS OF THE DANGERS DURING THE SEASON … AND “EXPECTED TO BE RESCUED” … $$$ NOT TO MENTION THE DANGERS TO THE RESCUE TEAMS AND THEIR RESPECTIVE FAMILIES. I SAY IT IS TIME TO HANG UP THE PHONE. THAT RCAF HELICOPTER ITSELF WILL REQUIRE MANY HOURS OF MAINTENANCE ON RETURN TO BASE THAT WILL NOT EVEN BE PART OF THE EQUATION.
    TILT.
