Squamish RCMP has issued a ticket to a party host in town for violating COVID-19 rules.
On March 6, Squamish RCMP received and investigated a complaint of a party in town.
The investigation revealed that there were several ‘non-residents’ at the party, said Sgt. Sascha Banks of Squamish RCMP.
As a result, police issued the host a provincial violation ticket for promoting a “non-compliance event” under the Emergency Program Act.
Breach of Undertaking
On March 8, Squamish RCMP arrested a man who was under orders to not possess tools that could be used to commit break, enter, and theft.
This man is known to the the police.
The police are reminding community members to secure their belongings in their yards, cars, and property.
