The District of Squamish will host an in-person and online open house to begin public engagement for the Garibaldi Estates Neighbourhood Planning Process.
District officials will make a presentation about the planning process and the background and residents will have an opportunity to speak to district staff about a variety of topics.
The one-hour in-person event will be held on October 18 at the Squamish Baptist Church at 2262 Read Crescent.
This event will take place twice, from 6:30 to 7:30 pm, and then again from 8 to 9 pm.
Each event will accommodate a maximum of 100 people, and masks will be required for all attendees.
For those who are unable to attend the event, an online event will be held on Wednesday, Oct, 20 from 3 – 4:30 p.m.
The open house will include a presentation about the planning process. Participants will have an opportunity to ask questions and make comments. The open house will be recorded and made available online afterwards for those who are unable to participate.
