Squamish RCMP are seeking public’s assistance in identifying a man related to a break, enter, and theft at a construction site in the 38000 block of Third Avenue in Downtown Squamish.

The theft took place on January 4, sometime between 10:45 p.m. and 11:45 pm, police say.

The man entered the site through a fence and stole tools including a grinder, an 18-volt Makita battery, four rolls of copper wire, and three rolls of other wires.

The man is described as:

Caucasian

5’7” (170 cm) tall

Medium to heavy build

35-45 years old

He was wearing black pants, black coat, black gloves, black winter boots, and a grey hoodie.

“We’d like to identify and work with this man to prevent him from committing further offences,” says Corporal Angela Kermer of Squamish RCMP. Anyone with any information is asked to contact the Squamish RCMP at 604-892-6100, or contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS, or go to the www.solvecrime.ca

Go to Squamish Helping Hands at 5:15pm and I’m sure you are going to find him,and he’s probably never lived or worked in Squamish for 6 months and therefore not a resident…got sent here from another Social services provider in Bc, where most come from in Squamish.
