Police investigate ‘serious collision’ involving motorcycles on Highway 99

Police and emergency crews responded to a serious collision involving two motorcycles on Highway 99 around 1 pm.

West Vancouver police has confirmed that two motorcycles were involved in the accident. Paramedics transported the injured to the hospital, though their conditions is not yet known.

Both southbound lanes of Highway 99 at Lawrence way were closed due to the collision. The RCMP Integrated Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Service are on scene to investigate the collision.

The southbound traffic is now open after remaining closed for approximately three hours.
