Notice: FortisBC trucks to transport pipes from BC Rail site to Squamish Terminals

FortisBC contractors will begin transporting pipes through Squamish in mid-March, with deliveries running through mid-May.

According to the company, trucks will make approximately 12 round trips every three days, moving materials from the BC Rail site to Squamish Terminals. Deliveries will occur Monday to Friday from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., with Saturday transport possible between 8 a.m. and 7 p.m. if needed.

Trucks will follow designated truck routes, including Third Avenue, Vancouver Street, Loggers Lane, Cleveland Avenue, Highway 99, Industrial Way, Queens Way, and Government Road. In the notice, FortisBC has assured residents that safety will remain a priority during the transport operations.
