Squamish RCMP is requesting the public’s assistance in locating a 14 year old missing Squamish resident.

The District of Squamish is currently in day two of a High Fire Danger rating. The high rating is expected to continue throughout the rest of this week.

Please go to extra efforts to ensure all attractants are securely stored and store totes in a shed or garage if possible. 

He was reported missing by his family on May 27th, 2019.

The Sea to Sky Gondola is adding 10 new eight-passenger gondola cabins this summer, increasing its capacity by 50 per cent.

Squamish citizens may not be able to use their secondary suites or coach houses for short term rentals if council agrees with a staff suggestion this Tuesday.

This will free up capital to invest in other critical infrastructure projects and will permit the District to focus on bylaw enforcement and animal control in the community, according the district.
