'Will this village of 1200 grow?' It was over 50 years ago the Vancouver Sun posed that question about Squamish to the local municipal clerk, Hannah McCormack.

Sadie-Rose is described as First Nations, brown hair, brown eyes, 5'5".  She has had verbal communications with family but her whereabouts and safety is unknown. 

The RCMP and Squamish SAR are working to recover the bodies in an 'extremely difficult and dangerous terrain,' according to Cpl Sascha Banks of Squamish RCMP.

Investigators are now treating the death of two Squamish men as a homicide and not a random incident, RCMP said in a media release. 

The situation does seem dire. However there is hope.  All levels of government are responding to the housing crisis in Canada.
