Squamish was one among the 18 cities chosen as the top city to visit in 2018 by Expedia Canada Travel Blog. Expedia recently surveyed 1000 Canadians and asked them which city they would like to recommend to their fellow travellers visit in the new year.

Paying taxes is never fun but it will be more agonizing next year knowing a major development in town is getting a tax break, thanks to the Squamish council.

Squamish Historical Society has announced that BC Heritage Fairs Society has selected Squamish as the host location for the 2018 Provincial Heritage Fair. Approximately 60 students from around the province will gather together in Squamish from July 5th to July 9th.
