Two paddleboarders missing after falling into Browning Lake at Murrin Park

Two people are missing after falling off their paddleboards in Browning Lake at Murrin Provincial Park on Friday afternoon and failing to resurface, Squamish RCMP said.

The Sea to Sky RCMP Squamish Detachment received the report at approximately 3 p.m. on May 30. Officers are on scene and are being assisted by RCMP Air Services, Squamish Search and Rescue, Squamish Fire Rescue and park rangers.

Murrin Provincial Park is closed while the police investigation and search continue. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact Squamish RCMP at 604-892-6100.
